My brother and I went and saw 'Saw VII' in 3D tonight at the cinema.
I liked it a lot better than I thought I would!
A little predictable, sure, but it was still enjoyable. :)

We bought a new outdoor setting tonight from Kmart.
Kai was my little guardian when walking out to the car with it. lol

So here's a way to make a buck.
Cash in on a 'holiday' that, typically, Australians do not celebrate.
That's something I've never thought to ask my American friends.
How much does one of these pumpkins cost? Somehow I don't think it's $24.00 each!

Roller Derby was on again tonight and this time Alex came with me.
Afterwards we went out and got dinner at the Vikings Club in Tuggeranong.
Neither of us had been there in years but it was good to see the huge salt water aquarium is still there and going strong!

It's also a favourite thing of his to insist on ME to colour in while he disappears and does something else. lol

Our next door neighbour started cutting down some of their trees a few months ago as apparently they were told that those particular trees are prone to drop their branches.
Today they finally cut down their trunks.
Callum and I had fun just watching.

We had to go to Bunnings today to get a few things and while we were there we saw that there was face painting.
Callum has never had his face painted until now.
I was surprised at how still he stayed!
He was the cutest tiger ever! (of course. lol)

As part of Callum's speech therapy we play games by getting Callum to say different sounds etc and then he gets a turn of whatever game we are playing.
Tonight we found and bought a marble race which we thought would be a good game to play while doing speech therapy at home.
Apart from the fact it takes ages to set up it's pretty cool watching the marble go down each time and Callum has a ball playing with it AND we manage to do some therapy at the same time.
Win win. :)

Alex moved desks today which meant moving buildings.
This is his new desk (opposite the window).
Apparently he'll be moving again in a few months.

Did a quick grocery shop today with one of my favourite little people to go shopping with!

We had a speech therapy session for Callum today.
While he is enjoying the days we have therapy he is progressing very slowly which is frustrating for Alex and I.
Still, I do enjoy seeing Callum have a good time. :)
